So, what's the Cat Jams roster been up to over the last few months? WELL
OBELISK & MC CAT GENIUS blogged meticulously about their 4/20 excursion to Chicago to play Version07 and the Twenty is the New Ten fashion show. Read all about the Shaq-O-Lantern, the Dungeon Majesty babes and babette, and me getting my mask ripped off by a bitch. Channing is still working on blogging about the rest of the March tour. We drove to the Apop grand opening but got there two hours after the other bands finished, so we just ate some grilled sausages and then went to Hooters, and then we bought the world's lamest 'Shocking' erotic photo from a dispenser in a gas station bathroom. So, it was a good show.

• Channing finally got "...Undeniable", OBELISK & MC Cat Genius' first equal-billing recorded collaboration, uploaded to archive.org. He didn't write the description yet, but the artwork is by Jason Reamer (because I'm not stupid) and Castro Catastrophe's Marcus Miller produced the cover of El Chombo feat. Andy's Val Gourmet' 'Macarron Chacarron'. Digiki and Dritt Drittel have breakdowns of the packaging.
• Back in March, some weird guy apparently got to our Iowa City set as soon as it ended and thought that the Eddie Murphy song that the bar's iTunes had just put on was our set. He liked it, though, so maybe I shouldn't say anything. He took some photos of us, is why I mention it.
• MC Cat Genius' contribution to the Toog-curated Cagesan birdsong remix album is being offered free here (and of course here), because it was (preventatively) taken off the most recent pressings of the CD, because it was incredibly illegal, because it was an entire Nina Hagen song with cursing and bad puns over the top of it. Good decision, I think.
BOB DYNAMITE wrote to Michael Alig and he wrote back! His response read like a text message, except two pages long and handwritten.
AARON ARNOLDY, former Cat Jams unpaid intern, continues to make the rest of us look bad by existing. Check out these photos (2) of his Peace Corps project teaching marketing skills to young Dominican artisans (not to be confused with Young Japanese Macaque). And weep.

TRIP MAKER will host the last episode of Holy Victrola ever, Thursday July 26 at 3 PM Central time, on KOPN 89.5 FM (streaming).

EMILY FOSTER, Channing's hotass girlfriend, was recently featured in the Columbia Tribune relating to the premiere of her first animated short, 'Snowfakes'.
The premiere ceremonies included an opening screening of a children's cartoon, 'Kippy and Krikey's Space Adventure':
as well as performances by Electric Pizza, Flowers, and the handsomely mysterious The Captain & The Captain.

• Emily is moving to San Francisco in a few days, for adventure. Not because of anything The Captain & The Captain said, since they don't talk.
• Also, Gregg and Emily and Erik went to Branson for no reason.
CHANNING is moving to San Francisco also, but in March 2008, to attend San Francisco State University's four-month Digital Video Intensive certificate program. Fuck you, Columbia!

HIROAKI KOSHIBA did a live painting performance at ai Gallery in Niigata, Japan on 07/07/07, accompanied by music by Jeremy Freeze and Channing Kennedy (dig around in that folder for the Starbaskets/Flowers tracks from Hiro's NYC show in October 2006).
